Pre-Comp
As part of this class your child will be exposed to different areas of such as:

- Choreography
- Routine learning
- Additional skill development
- Strength and Flexibility training
- Working in teams
- Working hard to achieve set goals
Within this class we will be following guidance from the 2021 Gymnastics New Zealand competitive code of points, this will ensure that each gymnast that so desires will be competition ready during competition season. For more information please refer to the Competition Handbook attachment in this tab.
Please note, Pre-Comp is deemed a recreational class with a view to competitive programme entry. We ask that a minimum of at least one term is completed in our Recreational Gym for all attendees before attending a pre-competitive class, this allows your athlete to learn the fundamentals of gymnastics. There will not be any competitions attended by your child at this level, but this is an opportunity to learn how the competitive gymnastics programme works, you can then decide if competitive gymnastics is for your family.
